March 6 — A victim reported that an unknown suspect stole her wallet containing her ID and credit cards after she inadvertently left it on the counter at a store on the 3300 block of Jefferson Davis Highway. Case is open.
March 7 — A victim reported at 9:06 a.m. that his mother-in-law's unlocked vehicles were entered on the 1500 block of Ruffner Road and cash was stolen from each vehicle. Case is pending.

March 7 — A victim reported at 11:21 a.m. that an unknown suspect or suspects entered her unlocked vehicle parked in her driveway on the 400 block of E. Alexandria Avenue and stole a large amount of cash and her operator’s license. Case is pending.

March 7 — It was reported at 4:45 p.m. that an unknown suspect or suspects entered a victim’s unlocked vehicle on the 400 block of E. Luray Avenue and sole coins from the console. Case is pending.
March 8 — A victim reported at 10:26 a.m. on the 2300 block of Mt. Vernon Avenue that she accidently lost her wallet, which was eventually returned to her mailbox. Everything was intact except the all her cash was missing. Case is pending.
March 8 — A victim reported at 11:18 a.m. that an unknown suspect or suspects entered his unlocked vehicle on the 2600 block of Central Avenue and stole his Zune digital media player. Case is pending.
March 9 — A church member reported at 10:35 a.m. that an unknown suspect stole several postage stamps, cash and an umbrella from a church located on the 1800 block of Russell Road while services were underway. Case is pending.
March 9 — A reported assault occurred between two people who had a prior relationship or were known to each other at 11:09 a.m. on the 700 block of Tennessee Avenue. Case is pending.

March 11 — A victim reported at 6:35 a.m. that his wallet was taken by unknown suspects by false pretense and lost that he lost a large sum of money on the 3800 block of Executive Avenue. Victim assumed he was receiving a lot more cash but instead received a wallet containing rolled-up paper. Case is pending.
March 11 — An unknown suspect cashed a forged check at 3:26 p.m. on the 4100 block of Mt. Vernon Avenue. An investigation is ongoing.

March 14 — An arrest was made at 9:56 p.m. after a suspect reportedly created fraudulent returns by forging signatures on return receipts at a business on the 3500 block of Jefferson Davis Highway.
