Crime Report: Thefts From Vehicles Continue

Feb. 17 — An assault occurred between two or more people who had a prior relationship or were known to each other at 12:42 a.m. on the 3200 block of Landover Street. Case is pending.

Feb. 17 — A parked and locked 2003 Jeep Cherokee was reported stolen at 8:24 a.m. from a residence on the 600 block of Upland Place. Case is pending.

Feb. 17 — A piece of the grill and a roll of quarters was taken at 9:24 a.m. from an unlocked vehicle parked on the first block of E. Linden Street. Case is pending.

Feb. 17 — An assault occurred at 4:54 p.m. on the 3800 block of Executive Avenue between two or more people who had a prior relationship or were known to each other. Case is pending.

Feb. 17 — Suspects cut the soft top on a convertible on the 3900 block of Jefferson Davis Highway and stole a GPS and a coin purse at 7:04 p.m. Case is pending.

Feb. 18 — An unknown suspect removed cash and checks from a dwelling at 1:09 p.m. on the 2600 block of Commonwealth Avenue. Case is pending.

Feb. 18 — A suspect shoved a victim during a verbal altercation that took place at 11:47 p.m. outside the Braddock Road Metro station. Case is open.

Feb. 19 — An arrest was made at 12:55 a.m. in an assault that occurred on the 3700 block of Edison Street between two or more people who had a prior relationship or were known to each other.

Feb. 19 — An arrest was made in an assault that occurred at 5:25 a.m. on the 3800 block of Elbert Avenue between two or more people who had a prior relationship or were known to each other.

Feb. 19 — It was reported at 11 a.m. that a suspect removed personal property from a residence on the 3500 block of Commonwealth Avenue. Case is open.

Feb. 20 — An unknown suspect stole a victim's 1999 Honda Odyssey at 12:11 p.m. on the 3900 block of Executive Avenue. Case is pending.

Feb. 20 — An assault occurred at 9:12 p.m. on the 300 block of W. Glebe Road between two or more people who had a prior relationship or were known to each other. Case is open.

Feb. 21 — An unknown suspect removed personal property from a victim's unsecured vehicle at 2:56 p.m. on the first block of Leadbeater Street. Case is pending.

Feb. 21 — A sexual offense was reported at 6:10 p.m. on the 3800 block of Russell Road. To protect the victim's privacy, the narrative for this open case is not available.
