Crime Report: Woman Robbed on Mt. Vernon Ave

A recent look at crime in Del Ray

The following information was provided to www.crimereports.com by the Alexandria Police Department. Additional details about the most recent crimes were not available at publication time.

May 16 — An unknown suspect stole a victim’s wallet in the 3200 block of Jefferson Davis Highway at 4:19 p.m. The wallet was stolen either while the victim was at the gas station or while driving a stranger to his residence.

May 16 — An assault with a deadly weapon was reported in the 3800 block of Executive Avenue at 9:05 p.m. The victim was assaulted by an unknown suspect while walking with a friend.

May 15 — Two packages were reported stolen from outside a residence in the 500 block of E. Nelson Avenue at 4:20 p.m.

May 15 — A woman was attacked in the 1200 block of Mt. Vernon Avenue at 10:28 p.m. Five unknown suspects knocked the woman to the ground and stole her purse.

May 14 — An assault occurred between two or more people who had a prior relationship or were known to each other. The assault took place in the 3800 block of Mt. Vernon Avenue at 3:50 p.m.

May 14 — A woman was attacked by two unknown suspects in the 3800 block of Executive Avenue at 11:38 p.m. Once the victim began to scream, the suspects ran away.
