Police Seek Help Identifying Robbery Suspects

Two male suspects allegedly involved with Oct. 30 robbery of Kenmore Avenue 7-Eleven.

The Alexandria Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying suspects they believe were involved in the robbery last month of a 7-Eleven located at 4610 Kenmore Ave.

At 3:17 a.m. Oct. 30, two suspects entered the business, police said. One of them jumped over the counter and grabbed the store’s clerk. The suspect displayed a handgun and held the clerk while the other suspect went for the cash register. The suspects then pushed the clerk to the ground and ran out of the store. The clerk was not seriously injured, according to the police.

One suspect is described as a dark-skinned black man standing between 5-foot-9 and 5-foot-11 and weighing 160 to 180 pounds. He was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled over his head, a black, puffy North Face jacket, black jeans and black shoes.

The other suspect is described as a dark-skinned black man standing between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-9, weighing 160 to 180 pounds. He was wearing a red hat, a black warm-up jacket with white stripes down the arms, dark pants and dark shoes.
