• Two Beales Scholars from Southside Virginia Join Class of '30 (wm.edu) — Emporia students admitted to William & Mary are automatically considered for two prestigious Beales Scholarships reserved for Southside Virginia residents. This year’s awards went to standout seniors from Blackstone and Farmville, highlighting strong academics, leadership, and community service. Applications for the William & Mary Class of 2031, and thus future Beales Scholarships, are now open.
