2 Dogs Found In Fairfax City Waiting To Be Reclaimed

City of Fairfax police found two small dogs walking together in the city on Sunday.

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — City of Fairfax police released a photo Monday of two small dogs that were found walking together on Sunday in the city.

The two dogs can be claimed at the Michael R. Frey campus of the Fairfax County Animal Services at 4500 West Ox Road. Although the facility is closed on Monday, it is open 12 to 5 p.m., Tuesday-Wednesday, 12-7 p.m., Thursday-Friday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday-Sunday

In 2025, FCAS cared for 5,472 animals at its Michael R. Frey and Lorton campus, according animal services' most recent annual report. Thanks to its adoption and reunification efforts, FCAS saved the lives of 4,595 animals last year.
