FAIRFAX, VA – Two men have been charged in connection with an apartment robbery on the 100 block of Clubhouse Drive SW on Sunday, Leesburg police say.
According to police, officers responded to reports of a break-in in progress at 7:15 a.m. They say three suspects entered an apartment and confronted the occupants, with one suspect implying that he had a weapon. One suspect then grabbed property, and all three left the area on foot.
All were quickly detained, and the victim's belongings were recovered.
Christian Marquez Aguilar, 26, of Fairfax, was charged with robbery and unlawful entry in connection with the incident. Josue Zelaya Alvarenga, 20, of Herndon, was charged with possession of stolen property and unlawful entry. The third individual suspected of being involved is a juvenile. They have not been charged yet.
Police say the suspects and the victim knew each other.
Aguilar and Alvarenga are being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center. The juvenile has been referred to the Department of Youth Services.
