FAIRFAX CITY, VA — Fairfax City Restaurant Week will return Aug. 20-30, giving residents and visitors 10 days to explore signature dishes from 21 local restaurants while supporting the city's diverse dining scene.

This year's event moves away from emphasizing fixed-price menus and instead encourages participating restaurants to showcase the dishes they are most proud to serve, highlighting the stories, traditions and culinary influences behind their menus. Organizers say the approach gives diners a deeper look at the restaurants that make up Fairfax City's dining community.
