Fresh Monkee Bringing First Virginia Location To Fairfax City

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — A smoothie and protein shake chain is preparing to make its Virginia debut with a new location in Fairfax City.

Fresh Monkee plans to open at 11282 James Swart Circle, according to The Burn. The chain specializes in smoothies and protein shakes, with menu offerings including Blueberry Pie, Lime Green Mango, Caramel Coffee Buzz and Magic Melon. The company has more than 70 locations either open or in development across 18 states.

An opening date for the Fairfax City location has not been announced, according to The Burn, with the new store currently listed as "coming soon." The Fairfax location will be Fresh Monkee's first in Virginia and the greater Washington, D.C., market.
