FAIRFAX CITY, VA — A Fairfax woman faces a felony charge of assaulting a law enforcement officer and two misdemeanor charges after police said she resisted arrest at a Wawa early Oct. 20.
Daneitra Robinson, 33, was arrested after officers responded to a trespassing report at the business at 9700 Fairfax Blvd. just before 3:30 a.m., according to police.
The reporting party told officers that a woman who had previously been barred from the business had returned. When officers attempted to arrest her, she resisted and assaulted officers, police said.
Robinson was taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center and held without bond, according to the police report.
Virginia court records list the assault charge as a Class 6 felony. The other charges — trespassing after being forbidden and obstruction or resisting without force — are listed as Class 1 misdemeanors.
All three cases are pending in Fairfax County General District Court, with hearings scheduled for 2 p.m. Jan. 13, 2027. The assault case is scheduled for a preliminary hearing, according to court records.
The records list a public defender as Robinson's attorney and show no disposition in any of the three cases
