105 Dogs Adopted during Adopt-A-Shelter-Dog Month

Stray dogs are still waiting at the animal shelter for a new, loving home.

More than 100 dogs found a new home during Adopt-A-Shelter-Dog month at the Prince William County Animal Shelter.

With help from the Prince William Humane Society, the shelter adopted out 105 dogs in October. The next Adopt-A-Shelter-Dog month won’t be here until next October, but the animal shelter urges those looking for a dog not to wait. Animal shelter employees and volunteers are available every day to find the perfect furry friend to suit your personality and lifestyle.

The shelter houses dogs of many types, sizes, ages and personalities and asks potential adopters to remember that older dogs make excellent pets, too.
