$1M Virginia Lottery Ticket Bought In Stafford

One of three $1 million Virginia Lottery tickets was purchased in Stafford. The ticket was part of Virginia's New Year's Millionaire Raffle.

STAFFORD, VA — One of three $1 million Virginia Lottery tickets was purchased at Weis Markets, 905 Garrisonvile Road, in Stafford. The other two were bought in Bedford and Virginia Beach. The tickets were part of Virginia's New Year's Millionaire Raffle.

Five other tickets worth $100,000 apiece were sold in Leesburg, Charlottesville, Ridgeway, South Hill and Virginia Beach. The odds of buying a winning $1 million ticket were 1 in 125,000.
