2 Pets Die In Fredericksburg Apartment Fire

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — A cat and a dog perished in an apartment fire in Fredericksburg on Saturday afternoon, according to authorities.

Units from the Fredericksburg Fire Department and Spotsylvania Fire and Rescue responded to the report of a structure fire in the Greenbriar Apartments, according to a 4:47 p.m. post on FFD's official Facebook page.

No human injuries were reported, but one cat and one dog were killed in the blaze, according to the post. However, two other cats were rescued and treated at the scene.
