200 GB Of Child Pornography Found At Stafford Man's Home: Police
Authorities confiscated 200 gigabytes of child pornography during a search warrant at a Stafford home last month, police said.

STAFFORD COUNTY, VA — Authorities found 200 gigabytes of child pornography during a search of a Stafford home last month, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office. On Friday, police arrested and charged a Stafford man in connection with the search.
Police identified the man as 50-year-old Jonathan Davis. He is charged with 10 counts of possession of child pornography and 10 counts of reproduction of child pornography.
Davis was arrested on Friday and held on a $2,500 secured bond. According to court records, Davis has been released on bail. His next court date is scheduled for Oct. 25.

If convicted of all counts, Davis could face a sentence of more than 100 years in prison, based on Virginia's sentencing guidelines.
The sheriff's office said it began an investigation into Davis after it received a tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force last year about someone uploading child pornography.

A Stafford County detective worked with Virginia State Police to track the IP address responsible. The IP address led authorities to Davis, police said.
On Aug. 24, deputies executed a search warrant at Davis's home as he returned from work. During the search, police confiscated more than 200 gigabytes of child pornography, according to the police report.
Davis was officially charged and arrested on Friday.
