Shortly after 12 noon, the Fredericksburg E-911 Center received the report of an accident in the 1800 block of Carl D. Silver Parkway.
Investigators determined that the two vehicles collided with two people pushing a shopping cart in a business parking lot.

One of the drivers, 70-year-old Carole Ann Cecchino-Geiger of King George, was released on a summons for reckless driving on private property, according to police.
One adult involved in the crash was treated at the scene and was released, while a second adult was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

A one-year-old boy was also taken to the hospital to be treated for serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, police say.
