The three victims — an 18-year-old and two 17-year-olds — were all seniors at Spotsylvania High School set to graduate in the coming months, according to the sheriff's office.
After additional investigation, authorities determined the car, a 2002 Mercedes coupe, left the right side of the roadway and struck a tree. Speed likely contributed to the crash, authorities said.
