5K Child Porn Images, Bestiality Found On Stafford Ex-Marine's Computer Lead To Conviction

A 33-year-old former Marine was convicted Monday for receiving and possessing child porn and bestiality images, according to court records.

STAFFORD, VA — A former U.S. Marine from Stafford was convicted in federal court on Monday on child pornography charges after investigators found thousands of images of young children in sex acts and bestiality.

Eman Goodwin, 33, used the Kik messaging app to seek out child sexual abuse material in February 2021. Goodwin asked the child porn producer and trafficker for images of children “younger than HS” and “12 and under," federal prosecutors said.

When FBI agents searched Goodwin's apartment, clothing and his car on March 24, 2022, they found 21 electronic devices. Investigators determined Goodwin used two laptops to download child sexual abuse material from the internet and stored the images on a hard drive, according to court records.

The hard drive contained nearly 5,000 images and videos showing children, some of whom were prepubescent youngsters, engaging in sexually explicit behavior and bestiality, according to prosecutors. Goodwin also saved hundreds of files of child sexual abuse material on three cellphones.

Goodwin is scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 13, and faces a mandatory minimum of five years in prison, according to a release.
