'Adorable' Hope The Dog Up For Adoption From Fredericksburg SPCA
As part of #FosterFriday, the Fredericksburg SPCA presents "Hope," a 7-year-old dog in need of a loving home. She's described as adorable.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — About a month ago, a family had little choice but to give its dog to the Fredericksburg SPCA, coming to the sad realization they no longer were able to properly care for "Hope." The 7-year-old canine had medical needs the family knew it couldn't fulfill.
Now, though, after being treated for serious inflammation of the joints, Hope is seeking a permanent home after having been taken in and cared for by one of the center's foster families. She's the featured dog on #FosterFriday.
"She's really made a remarkable turnaround," Fredericksburg SPCA deputy director Dalia Salah said Friday. "The transition itself from a (longtime) home to a different environment could have really been stressful, but she's really done well. It's such a good story."

And consider this, from someone in the foster family: "She's aged like a fine wine but she's not as fancy as all that. Heck, she's just happy if you have carpets on the floor to help prevent falls!
"She is a sweet lady who does well with other low-key animals and humans, and would prefer single-level living with someone who will let her rest her long beautiful schnoz on their lap."
