Alleged Shooter Detained, Firearm Recovered Following Disturbance North Of Fredericksburg
Stafford County sheriff's deputies detained a suspect and recovered a firearm following a disturbance on Hulls Chapel, authorities say.
FREDERICKSBURG, VA — A suspected shooter and firearm was recovered following a disturbance in the Fredericksburg area of Stafford County, according to authorities
The sheriff's office posted on its Facebook page around 2:25 p.m. that there was a large police presence in the 100 block of Hulls Chapel north of Fredericksburg. Deputies were investigating the report of shots being fired in the area.
Around 3 p.m., the sheriff's office posted that a subject had been detained and a firearm was recovered. No other details were available.
