FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Sheehy Toyota of Fredericksburg has renewed its support of Empower House, continuing a partnership that began in 2018, according to a news release issued Monday.

The dealership recently presented a $15,000 check to help Empower House's programs that provide immediate protection and longer-term help for people in crisis in the Fredericksburg region. Empower House provides emergency shelter, a 24-hour crisis hotline, counseling and advocacy services, according to the release.

The organization also offers housing stability and rapid re-housing programs, along with services for children and families. Empower House also runs prevention efforts and community education aimed at reducing violence, according to the release.

“At Sheehy, we believe strong communities are built by supporting one another, especially in moments that matter most,” said Mike Rastegari, general manager of Sheehy Toyota of Fredericksburg. “Empower House offers safety, dignity, and hope to individuals and families in need, and we’re honored to continue partnering with them to make a meaningful difference.”

The release described Empower House as a lifeline in the Fredericksburg area and said sustained partnerships help keep services accessible to people who need them. It said the renewed support is part of the dealership’s continued investment in programs focused on both urgent needs and longer-term stability.

The effort is part of Sheehy Auto Stores’ Sheehy Cares initiative, which focuses on supporting programs with lasting community impact. The company said it donated more than $1 million in 2025 through that broader effort.

Sheehy Auto Stores is marking 60 years of service in 2026. The family-owned automotive group, founded in 1966, operates more than 25 dealerships across the Mid-Atlantic.
