FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Spotsylvania County Museum will host the VA250 Mobile Museum Experience on May 2 and 3, with free admission for the public.
The traveling exhibit, titled "Out of Many, One," will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days at the museum, 6159 Plank Road in Fredericksburg. The stop is part of the mobile museum’s travels through Virginia and beyond.
The VA250 Mobile Museum Experience is a “museum on wheels” housed in a quad-expandable tractor trailer, according to a release. The exhibit is described as hands-on, interactive and immersive.
The mobile museum brings stories from Virginia history to schools, museums, local events and fairs, according to the release. It highlights regions across the state as it travels.
For Spotsylvania residents and others in the Fredericksburg area, the event offers a free chance to visit the traveling exhibit locally over two days.
