FREDERICKSBURG, VA — A Fredericksburg man’s routine stop for Virginia Lottery tickets turned into a $100,000 win.
Todd Lumpkin, a regular Virginia Lottery player, bought the winning Power Payout Multiplier scratcher at the Fas Mart at 3530 Plank Road in Fredericksburg, according to the Virginia Lottery.
Lumpkin scratched the tickets at home with his wife and discovered one of them was worth $100,000. His wife also won $55 on another ticket.
“This is an early birthday present,” Lumpkin told Virginia Lottery officials.
