Letter to the Editor
When we first met with Congressman Eugene Vindman, VA-07, to discuss the urgent needs of individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s disease, we asked for his support in advancing awareness, advocacy, research, caregiver resources, and community initiatives. Since that meeting, Congressman Vindman has demonstrated a genuine commitment to those efforts and has consistently supported initiatives that benefit the Alzheimer’s community and the families we serve.
While we are grateful for his partnership and leadership, much work remains to be done. Alzheimer’s continues to impact countless families across Virginia and our nation. We respectfully ask for Congressman Vindman’s continued support as we work together to improve resources, advance research, strengthen caregiver assistance, and ensure that those living with dementia and their care partners receive the support they deserve.
On behalf of our Alzheimer’s advocacy community, we thank Congressman Vindman for standing with us and look forward to continuing this important work together.
