FAIRFAX STATION, VA — A 39-year-old Fredericksburg woman was killed Thursday evening in a motorcycle crash in Fairfax Station, according to Fairfax County police.
Officers responded around 7:13 p.m. to the intersection of Ox Road (Route 123) and Chapel Road for a reported crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV.
Crash Reconstruction Unit detectives said Jennifer Hollingsworth was riding a 2025 Suzuki GSXR 750 northbound on Ox Road when the motorcycle collided with a 2021 Buick Enclave. Investigators said the Buick was making a left turn from southbound Ox Road onto eastbound Chapel Road when the crash occurred.
Hollingsworth was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Buick was not injured and remained at the scene, police said.
Investigators said alcohol is not believed to have been a factor for the Buick driver. Detectives are continuing to investigate whether speed or alcohol may have contributed to the motorcycle crash.
The Fairfax County Police Department's Crash Reconstruction Unit is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
