FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Authorities are asking for the public's help identifying a driver connected to a hit-and-run near a Fredericksburg-area Sheetz, according to the Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office.
The crash occurred around 2:15 p.m. Monday, near the Sheetz at 8533 Patriot Highway, the sheriff's office said.
Investigators released a photo of a man they said was driving a dark-colored Audi involved in the crash. Authorities did not provide information about possible injuries or damage.

The sheriff's office identified the investigation as case No. 26-081897.
