Police Seek Man Accused Of Brandishing Gun At Fredericksburg Walmart (patch.com) — Fredericksburg police are asking residents to help identify a man accused of brandishing a firearm at the Walmart on Carl D. Silver Parkway on Sept. 9. Investigators released surveillance images of the suspect and his truck, and are urging anyone with information to call 540-373-3122 or submit anonymous tips by text or through the FPD Tip app.

Rapes on Plank Road prompt Fredericksburg review of massage-parlor rules (potomaclocal.com) — Fredericksburg officials are weighing new rules for massage parlors after two reported rapes of workers on Plank Road, one in the city and one in Spotsylvania. City Council has asked staff to study options like local background-check requirements, with recommendations expected at a work session this fall, while police and sheriff's detectives continue investigating the linked cases.
3. Recent Fredericksburg-area commercial lease transactions (starexponent.com) — Several new commercial leases and renewals are reshaping available space in Fredericksburg, including offices, retail shops, warehouses, and government offices across Central Park, downtown, and nearby business parks.
