FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Stafford County detectives are investigating a death at a massage parlor as a possible homicide, according to court records reported by The Free Lance-Star.
A search warrant affidavit stated that authorities responded to Fuji Massage at 385 Garrisonville Road on Oct. 1 for an "unresponsive male." An unnamed employee fled before police arrived, and the victim's body had been moved from a massage table to the floor, the newspaper reported.
The body showed no obvious signs of trauma, but authorities noted that "pillows, ropes and other blunt objects can be used to facilitate a murder." The warrant authorized police to search the business for DNA evidence and security footage.
Stafford County Sheriff's Office spokesman Jackson Arnold declined to provide more information, citing an active investigation.
Patch requested the affidavit from the Stafford County Sheriff but had not received a response by the time of publication.
