Animal Rescue Festival Saturday In Downtown Fredericksburg
One of the downtown area's more eclectic annual events will be held Saturday at Riverfront Park and surrounding streets in Fredericksburg.
FREDERICKSBURG, VA—One of the downtown area's more eclectic annual events is 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at Riverfront Park and surrounding streets. It's the Fredericksburg SPCA's Animal Rescue Festival, an affair that has gotten progressively bigger in its 20-plus-year history.
It begins with a one-mile walk through downtown, after which the party gets underway in earnest with live music, beer and wine and plenty of food. Did we mention the FredericksBEARDS contest?
