Anti-Bullying Campaign Underway in Fredericksburg
Over a three-month period, Walker Grant Middle School teachers, city police and YouthMax will meet with middle school students after school.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — An anti-bullying campaign is underway in Fredericksburg public schools in conjunction with the Mary Washington Hospital Foundation and Fredericksburg Police.
Over a three-month period, Walker Grant Middle School teachers, city police and a group called YouthMax will meet with middle school students in special after-school workshops to "help them grow and develop to meet the challenges of life in today's constantly changing world."
Students are selected for the program by school administrators.

From Fredericksburg Police chief David Nye, in a release: "Youth Max is a wonderful opportunity for City youth to interact and engage with role models in our City. It is essential for youth to hear first-hand from their local role models about how they overcame bullying and challenges they faced in their youth."
