FREDERICKSBURG, VA — The Fredericksburg Police Department charged a high school teacher on Tuesday with two charges of indecent liberties with a child and one charge of solicitation to possess child pornography.

Marcus Salley, 33, of Fredericksburg, who was arrested Tuesday, was a high school teacher in Stafford County, according to the police.

In early September, the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office was notified that a high school teacher was having relations with a minor. A Stafford County school resource officer investigated the allegation and determined Salley was having an online relationship with a juvenile who lives in another state through an instant messaging app, the police said.
