'Armed And Dangerous' Homicide Suspect At Large In Stafford County: Police
Police in Stafford County are looking for a suspect who shot a victim several times at a courtyard in a north Stafford apartment complex.
STAFFORD COUNTY, VA — A 25-year-old man from Stafford died on Monday after he was shot several times outside of a north Stafford apartment complex, police said. Authorities are still looking for a suspect, who they described as "armed and dangerous."
The shooting occurred before 2:45 p.m. on Monday near the area of 205 Garrison Woods Drive.
When deputies arrived on the scene, witnesses were providing first aid to the victim, police said in their report. Stafford County Fire and Rescue responded to the area as well and transported the victim to the hospital.

The victim, who police identified as 25-year-old Christopher McDuffie, died at 3:21 p.m. on Monday.
During their investigation, authorities determined that an unknown suspect shot McDuffie several times in the courtyard between apartment buildings.

The suspect is described as Black man in his 20s with medium complexion. Authorities said the suspect is about 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs approximately 175 pounds. At the time of the shooting, he was wearing a black ski mask, a skull cap, gray sweats, and a blue hoodie.
