'Armed And Dangerous' Man Sought In Fredericksburg: Police

Authorities are asking for the public's help identifying and locating a man in Fredericksburg who they described as armed and dangerous.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Police officers are looking for an armed and dangerous man in Fredericksburg, authorities said on Wednesday afternoon.

Authorities said the man, who they have not identified by name, was involved an incident with a firearm in an apartment at the Colonial Village at Greenbrier on Wednesday.

"No one was injured," the Fredericksburg Police Department said about the incident. "However, we believe he is armed, dangerous, and in the area of Alum Springs Park and Greenbrier Drive."
