Arson Charge Filed For Fire In Stafford High School Bathroom: Report
Charges are pending for a Stafford High School student suspected of setting fire to a paper roll dispenser, says school resource officer.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — A student at Stafford High School is facing an arson charge after a school resource officer determined that someone had set fire to a paper towel dispenser in the boy's bathroom.
Deputy Robert Brooks was conducting his SRO duties around 9:30 a.m., when he learned of the incident.
Fire Marshall Daniel Pappas investigated the fire at the school, which is located at 63 Stafford Indians Lane in Fredericksburg, and determined that it had been set intentionally.

A student suspected of starting the fire was found to have a lighter and vapes in his possession, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office. Criminal complaints against the student for arson and underage possession of tobacco are pending.
