Art Attack Fredericksburg on Saturday

Art Attack Fredericksburg returns from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m Saturday.

As organizers point out at attackfred.com, Art Attack is a demonstration event, not an art fair.

The site tells artists, “The event is about making artwork in public and sharing it to promote yourself and our city’s creative community!”

For the event, artists set up shop in the sidewalk along Caroline Street between Amelia and Charlotte streets. William Street between Sophia and Princess Anne streets.

Fredericksburg Police Department will be partnering with organizers for “Feet First in Fredericksburg” from noon to 2 p.m.

Participants will be encouraged to paint their feet on the sidewalks in the area of the William Street intersections with and Princess Anne Street and Caroline Street.

Fredericksburg Center for the Creative Arts will be setting up a children’s paint station in the garden at 813 Sophia Street.
