Art First Gallery Hosts Ed King Works in August

The work of Fredericksburg-area artist Ed King is featured through August at Art Fist Gallery, with a First Friday celebration from 6-9 p.m. Friday night.

“The award-winning Ed King is a local fixture on the art scene,” Art First notes in a release. “King started his career as a sculptor and that legacy is still visible in his strong, almost carved, brush strokes.”

The subjects of King’s paintings include the Rappahannock River and animals.

The Art First Gallery is located at 824 Caroline Street. It’s open daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
