Art Show Features Animals at SPCA in Fredericksburg

Wine, food, music and art will be had in an unlikely setting — the first time the agency has attempted something like this. Admission? Free.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — It's not every day one can sip wine, eat food, listen to music and view art at a. . .pet shelter.

But that's what's going down Thursday at the Fredericksburg SPCA, 10819 Courthouse Road.

It's "Art for Animal's Sake," to be held from 7-9 p.m.

Artists from around the area will showcase their work, which in this case consists of renderings of animals available for adoption from the agency.

And yes, the art is for sale.
