Asencion Alvarez, 78, of Spotsylvania County, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at his home.
Mr. Alvarez is survived by his children, Teresa Bonilla, Maria Santos Reyes, Leonor Vasquez, Lina Lovos, Delmy Sosa and Carlos Alvarez; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother Jose Alvarez Reyes; and sister Maria Mercedez Alvarez.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, May 18, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.

A mass of celebration will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 19, at St. Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
