Aspetto's In Fredericksburg Moving To Larger Location: Report

The men's apparel and bullet-resistant clothing maker will remain at its current 619 Caroline St. location through the end of October.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Aspetto, a bulletproof clothing and men's apparel producer, will move its headquarters to downtown Fredericksburg at the end of October, according to reports. Aspetto plans to relocate to the former Forte Music building at 1691 Jefferson Davis Highway from its current location at 619 Caroline St.

The new space is about twice the size, the Free Lance-Star reports, and will allow the company to expand the government contracting side of its business.

Aspetto makes high-end men's suits in addition to bullet-resistant clothing. The company recently was awarded a five-year, $9.9 million contract for a ballistic plate carrier system by the Department of Homeland Security for U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
