Bank Robber Found, Arrested by Fredericksburg Police

Fredericksburg Police have arrested a man who robbed a local bank earlier this week.

Authorities arrested Gregory O’Neal, 25, of Spotsylvania County, after he robbed the Virginia Partners Bank on Plank Road on Monday.

Police received a call at approximately 1 p.m. reporting the robbery. O’Neal was said to have entered the bank and demanded money. Bank tellers complied, and O’Neal fled on foot toward the Westwood Shopping Center. Police confirmed his arrest on Thursday.

No one inside the bank was harmed during the robbery.
