Bank Robber Sought In Stafford County On Thursday: Police

Police in Stafford County are looking for a man who robbed the Truist Bank at Warrenton Road and Plantation Drive on Thursday afternoon.

STAFFORD COUNTY — Police in Stafford County are looking for a man who robbed a bank on Thursday afternoon.

Authorities said the man implied that he had a weapon and robbed the Truist Bank at the intersection of Warrenton Road and Plantation Drive around 3:30 p.m. He ran away after the robbery, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.

Police described the robber as a white man who is about 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds. He is between 30 and 35 years old and has short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, blank pants, and sunglasses. He was also carrying a dark bag.
