Barricade Situation Resolved In Stafford County: Police
A police standoff was resolved peacefully in Stafford on Friday morning, the county sheriff's office said in a news release.
STAFFORD COUNTY, VA — A suspect was arrested after a 4-hour standoff in Stafford on Friday morning, the county sheriff's office said.
No injuries have been reported in the incident.
Authorities have not publicly identified the suspect. Police officials said more information would be released later.

Around 7 a.m., deputies were called to the 100 block of Heflin Road for a "felony threat call," police officials said.
"Due to the nature of the threat, a perimeter was established and commands to exit the residence were made to the suspect," the sheriff's office wrote on Facebook. "When the suspect refused, this resulted in a standoff."

Around 11:30 a.m., the suspect surrendered to members of the SWAT team, authorities said.
Heflin Road was initially shut down, but it has reopened.
