Bathroom Brawl At Drew Middle School Leads To Discovery Of THC Vape

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — A school resource officer investigating an assault involving two girls at a Stafford County middle school discovered that one students involved had a THC vape.

Deputy V.L. Powell, who was working as an SRO, learned about a bathroom brawl involving two female students at Drew Middle School located at 501 Cambridge St. in Fredericksburg.

The student who was determined to be the aggressor in the brawl assaulted another student in reaction to name calling, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.

During the investigation, Powell discovered that the aggressor was in possession of a THC vape. Criminal complaints are pending in this case.
