BB Shot Breaks Window at Central Park Business

No suspects or witnesses, according to Fredericksburg City Police.

A Central Park business reported vandalism overnight Thursday, according to Fredericksburg City Police.

An employee at Ethan Allen, 1480 Carl D Silver Pkwy, told police the incident occurred sometime between 6 p.m. Thursday and 8:45 a.m. Friday.

An unknown person shattered a window outside of the building, apparently with a BB shot.

There are no suspects or witnesses at this time.

Other incidents, as reported Monday by Fredericksburg City Police:

  • Central Rappahannock Regional Library, 1201 Caroline St, 1/21 8:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. A patron reported that an unknown person stole his cell phone from his work area. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
  • Moss Free Clinic, 1301 Sam Perry Blvd, 2/6 4:00 p.m. A volunteer reported that an unknown person stole her checkbook and credit cards from her purse. The investigation is ongoing.
  • Verizon, 529 Jefferson Davis Hwy, 2/6 7:15 p.m. An employee reported that a male subject stole one of the display phones by pulling it away from the cable securing it. The suspect was described as a black male, 18-22 years old, 5’11” and 160 pounds, and wearing a gray hoodie and a black or gray beanie hat with a blue do-rag underneath. The investigation is ongoing.
  • Jay’s Lounge, 2030 Plank Rd, 2/6 – 2/7 11:30 p.m. A patron reported that an unknown person stole his cell phone after he inadvertently left it at the bar. No known suspects at this time.
  • 100 block Farrell Ln, 2/4 – 2/6 3:00 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person removed the back yard gate from its hinges. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
