God has created us all different but He made us all equal despite our differences. God says in the Holy Qur'an, “And among His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the diversity of your tongues and colors” (30:23).
We should treat everyone equally. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “All of you are equal. All men, whatever nation or tribe they belong to, and whatever station in life they may hold, are equal…”
In February we celebrate “Black History Month”. It is an Annual celebration of achievements of African Americans. This recognition is important so that our next generations don't forget the great work and achievements of black Americans in the past and present. Everyone should get their due recognition.
