Body Found in Car in Driveway

SPOTSYLVANIA, Va. — A young woman was found dead Monday sitting in a car in another resident’s driveway, according to the Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office.

The homeowner in the 10300 block of Piney Branch Rd. contacted police about finding the vehicle.

Responding officers found the body of Heather Ciccone, 21. She had died from an unspecified severe trauma to the upper body.

The Medical Examiner’s Office in Richmond has received the body to determine the cause of death.

Pending that ruling, detectives are investigating the case as a suspicious death.
