Bomb Threat Reported At Dixon-Smith Middle School In Stafford: Police
Dixon-Smith Middle School in Stafford County was evacuated on Thursday afternoon for a bomb threat, authorities said.
STAFFORD COUNTY, VA — Dixon-Smith Middle School was evacuated for a bomb threat on Thursday morning, the Stafford County Sheriff's Office said.
Authorities searched the school and did not find any explosive devices.
Around 1 p.m., the sheriff's office said students had been let back into the building.

"With the help of school staff, the school was evacuated. K-9 Units searched the school and students have now been let back into the building," the sheriff's office said. "Detectives are currently investigating the incident."
The sheriff's office has not provided any information about the nature of the bomb threat. No charges, arrest, or suspects have been publicly announced.
