Boy Robs Walmart At Knifepoint In Stafford: SCSO

A boy was arrested after robbing a Walmart at knifepoint Wednesday afternoon in Stafford, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.

STAFFORD, VA—A boy was arrested after robbing a Walmart at knifepoint Wednesday afternoon at 217 Garrisonville Road, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office. The youth was taken to the Juvenile Detention Center.

Around 5 p.m., police went to the store for a reported robbery and found that the suspect had fled on foot toward the west side of the store. Additional units were summoned and the juvenile was found by a nearby Chick-fil-A. Police searched him and found a large amount of money in his pocket. He admitted taking a knife off a shelf at the store and using it to threaten a cashier before getting the cash.
