Around 5 p.m., police responded to a report of a fight and members of the crowd pointed to Hooker and yelled that he had a gun. Police told everyone at the scene to get on the ground but Hooker and Harmon refused.
When police were dealing with Harmon, Hooker — who finally complied with the demand to get on the ground — jumped up, shot a gun into the ground and ran into the neighborhood.
