Buddy The Elf Is A Dog Who Needs A Forever Home: SPCA

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Buddy the Elf, a dog at the Fredericksburg SPCA, is as excitable as his namesake. He loves people and is ready to have a great first day with his new family.

First, Buddy's new family has to find (and adopt) him. His adoption fee has been sponsored by Sweet Frog Eagle Village.

"If you are obsessed with holiday movies, you'll be instantly transported to Will Ferrell's character in Elf with this dog! Buddy the Elf is just as friendly as his namesake," the Fredericksburg SPCA said. "A hap-hap-happy boy who would travel through the seven levels of the Candy Cane forest, past the sea of twirly-swirly gumdrops, and walk through the Lincoln Tunnel just to spend time with you!"

Buddy enjoys all the normal dog activities. A good walk, playing with toys, and visiting with other dogs. He already knows how to sit and is a quick learner.

Any interested families can visit Buddy at the SPCA's open hours from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. from Tuesday through Saturday. More information about Buddy and other adoptable cats and dogs is available online.
