Burger Bach Coming To Downtown Fredericksburg
Burger Bach is coming to downtown Fredericksburg, the city's Economic Development & Tourism team announced Wednesday.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — An award-winning burger joint with a wide variety of micro brews is coming to downtown Fredericksburg in the form of Burger Bach, which describes itself as "a New Zealand Inspired Gastro Pub." The news was announced Wednesday by the Liberty Place development team during a meeting of Fredericksburg Economic Development & Tourism, according to the latter's Facebook team. Construction is expected to begin sometime this fall.
The restaurant says its meat comes both from New Zealand and from cattle raised in mountain pastures, with "100% grass-fed Black Angus Premium beef (that) is leaner and healthier for you. Considered the BEST beef in the world, it is juicy, tender, great tasting and full of flavor." (For more local news, click here to sign up for real-time news alerts. Burger Bach, which also has locations in Charlottesville, Richmond (Carytown, Short Pump, Midlothian) and Durham, NC, says Gastro Pub stands for "Gastronomical Public House," and that bach is pronounced "batch." It classic sandwich has been voted 'best burger" five consecutive years by Richmond's Style Magzine, and in 2012 was named "top new restaurant" by the Richmond Times-Dispatch.
